2 Pistols

Florida's 2 Pistols has a lot of competition on his debut. It's partly produced by the talented J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and features Trey Songz, T-Pain and Ray J. While these guests make for a solid album, many times 2 Pistols ends up sitting in the backseat. The League combine majestic vocal samples with futuristic blips on the T-Pain-featured "She Got It" and "Let's Ride," making for songs that would've been hot regardless of who spit on them. And while Pistols engages listeners, weaving his tribulations through songs like "From the Bottom," he mostly fails to establish his own distinct style.
