After shrinking to a duo following their sophomore album, 2002's unfortunately titled A Girl Can Mack, 3LW are back as a trio for their So So Def debut. Jermaine Dupri's fingerprints are all over this single: he guest stars, and the track's production is his signature swooping and syrupy R&B. Dupri's touch worked for Mariah Carey's breathtaking The Emancipation of Mimi, but no one in 3LW has Carey's octave-scaling, miasma-spurting firepower. Still, the song is undeniably catchy, and the call-and-response between the lil' women and Dupri works well.
