Where former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge took his new project into prog-rock grandeur, Blink bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker (joined by a pair of guitarists) stuck with what they do best and started +44. "When Your Heart Stops Beating," the first single from the album of the same name, adds a jolt of electro-pop sheen and slick vocal harmonies on top of an aggressive pop-punk bounce. Fans of Blink will no doubt dig what these guys are getting into.
