Offbeat humor and retro-styled beats dominate, drawing comparisons to Sir Mix-A-Lot and vintage rapper Too Short. Vallejo V.I.P. E-40 lends a hand on "What If."

Like a bush-league Biz Markie, the "Because I Got High" rapper is a hip-hop jester playing
jokes on himself. The jokes aren't bad, but the biggest problem with this two-disc (!) set is
the music itself, which backs up Afro's lazy flow with skittery, cheapass beats.
