Against Me!

Against Me!'s second album for Fat Wreck Chords sees the Floridian punk revivalists charting rockier territory. The result is a more cultivated release that led to top billing on the Warped Tour (and, eventually, a major label deal). Singer-guitarist Tom Gabel channels anarchist folk with sing-a-longs that cause fist-pumping in and outside the mosh-pit. Songs like "Unprotected Sex With Multiple Partners" -- a send-up to the record industry -- and "Don't Lose Touch" -- a danceable ode to keeping it real -- cast away any doubt of the foursome being mere punks for profit.

Against Me!'s third full-length album is a bizarro combination of Who's Next, an angry
oi-punk record and some dude's blog. Former folkie Tom Gabel disses the secretary of
state and yaks about his friends while his Gainesville, Florida, mates rock with three-chord
abandon and help out vocally on the big-ass choruses. Gabel's songs are both wordier and
