Bebo Norman sheds yet another layer of his original folk and twang for higher doses of pop and very light alternative rock in this single from his fifth full-length album. An opening that's heavy on the sustain pedal sets a summer anthem tone, or, in this case, summer ballad. No matter how he shifts his style, Norman can't conceal his strengths: honest, dependable vocals, sentimental lyricism and peacefully pleasing hooks.
