Legendary underground hip-hop producer Dan the Automator teams up with some of the genre's biggest stars with mixed results. The guest line-up is simply amazing and features everyone from H-Town boss Slim Thug to Chicago upstart Lupe Fiasco to Staten Island's Ghostface. But many of the verses feel lazy or second-hand, and, like most comps, there's little that holds this together. The Automator's production has always been best over artists that hug the genre's margins -- from Dr. Octagon to Gorillaz -- and hearing him back up more traditional rappers is uninspiring.
