The Cyrkle played folk-tinged sunshine pop that did well enough that they were able to open up for the Beatles on their final tour but not well enough to sustain any sort of lasting interest in the group. It's a shame -- the tight harmonies and summery wistfulness heard on songs like the title track and "I Wish You Could Be Here" make for near-perfect pop moments.
