It's refreshing to hear a soundtrack for an action film that doesn't overuse young, spiky-haired, nasal-inflected bands hot off the Vans Warped Tour. John Powell's tasteful and refined orchestral compositions keep the soundtrack as suspenseful as the third installment in the Jason Bourne story. "Tangiers" imports Moroccan instrumentation and Moby shows up for the last song, "Extreme Ways," which unsurprisingly lets loose with electronic beats, wah-wah guitar, looped piano riffs and the kind of soulful Caucasian vocals usually preferred by Brit pop enthusiasts and boutique sneaker collectors.
