After a subtle third album, SR's fourth is closer to the strength of their first two. The opener's hint of rock is the first of many stylistic ingredients. Number two, hooks: the title track's chorus has the "it" factor (nice election-year single). Three: light CCM a la Caedmon's Call or Casting Crowns. Four: polished acoustic meandering through Fray-esque ballads ("Eternal"), Kottke-worthy guitar with twang ("Half our Lives") and a single shot of pop-CCM. Finally, the closer: an exclusive acoustic version of "Black Coal," blending styles further still.
