On their debut single, Cool Kids prove that you don't actually need new ideas to sound fresh. Nearly everything here is a pastiche of older and probably greater songs, but the cumulative effect sounds like little you've heard, and lyrics about tricked-out bikes hit the sweet spot between hipster kitsch and d-boy braggadocio.
