Provocative grrrl rocker Alejandra Guzman is in a loving mood on Fuerza, which shows her strength as a singer, as well as some heart and soul. As on 2006's Indeleble, she departs from the rebellious pop-punk songs she became known for early in her career and shows her softer side on a set of gutsy, upbeat ballads. As heard on songs like "Un Momento," Guzman, who recorded this album after beating breast cancer, is loving life. She seconds that positive emotion on "Hasta el Final," dedicated to her daughter, and shouts it louder on the perfect sing-a-long, "Un Buen Dia."
