"That's why I'm crazy/ That's why I'm crazy/ But it's all right," howls Bob Lind on the a cappella intro. A successful folk-pop songwriter in the mid-'60s ("Elusive Butterfly" anyone?), Lind made one last album in 1971 before unexpectedly dropping out of music for the next quarter-century. Featuring country-rock heavies Gene Clark, Doug Dillard and Bernie Leadon, Since There Were Circles documents Lind's twisted folk-rock vision. So yeah, crank this thing and bask in the dude's craziness.
