Instead of projecting the image of a dejected singer-songwriter, Yoav uses just his voice, his trusty guitar and a host of looping tricks and effects to sound like an entire band. The songs here, such as "Club Thing," "Adore Adore" and "Beautiful Lie," are polished and radio-ready, yet they also have a slightly sinister feel, combining elements of teen angst with the brooding atmosphere of old spy movies.
