Together for over 10 years and responsible for six previous studio albums, Sevendust continue to kick down the doors of alt metal, only now, with this seventh album, incorporating the slightest whiff of emo-metal in the ultra melodic choruses. Worry not, though: the guitars are still tuned nice and low, the riffs still throb with a futuristic slither and vocalist Lajon Witherspoon remains a powerful presence. "Inside," "Scapegoat" and "Enough" even feature a sort of industrial psychedelia, making this an album you will want headphones for.
