As summer hits go, few have had the longevity of "Calabria," which has been a staple in clubs worldwide since it appeared as an instrumental in 2003, reappeared as a Crystal Waters mash-up in 2005 and was reworked yet again in 2007, featuring vocals from the late Danish reggae singer Natasja Saad. A mixture of soca, dancehall and high-spirited house, the sax-driven anthem is a bit like Samim's "Heater": an alleged novelty track with incredible staying power.
