Spalding, following a path carved by Enya and Anael, crafts new age pop that sounds like a choir of nymphs who have been filling ancient Celtic forests with song and dance since the days of Morgan le Fay. Kudos to producer and composer Mars Lasar; much of Save the World's fantastical aesthetic is the product of his studio prowess. Apparently, the dude used over 10,000 vocal takes! Of course, at the core lies Spalding's voice, an instrument that's soothing in its patience and otherworldliness.
