Slim Thug took four years off between his debut album, Already Platinum, and this, his sophomore release. In that time, the world had changed. The H-Town rap craze died, leaving only a faint residue on the pop landscape, and, more ominously for Slim Thug, the Neptunes moved on after providing the bulk of the production for Platinum. Fortunately, Slim Thug still has his signature deep baritone and a battering-ram flow that instantly tenderizes any beat, and the album's guest appearances (Mannie Fresh, Devin the Dude, Z-Ro and UGK) are on point, making this an enjoyable album.
