Cube's fourth solo record is slightly less explosive than his earlier work. Ample P-Funk grooves (George Clinton himself shows up on "Bop Gun") and somewhat mellower production prevail. It's still a quality album, highlighted by the fierce "Ghetto Bird" and the elastic Funk of "You Know How We Do It."
