No Rest For The Wicked
Ozzy Osbourne

Epic
The arrival of guitarist Zakk Wylde is unmistakable on this fifth album from the premier metal singer. Wylde immediately put his stamp on Ozzy's band with a flurry of tripped-out pedal effects and masterful precision. The addition seems to energize Ozzy himself -- "Devil's Daughter" is better than anything on The Ultimate Sin. Elsewhere, an unprecedented bluesy feel emerges on "Demon Alcohol" and "Crazy Babies," presumably a result of Wylde's influence. Longtime fans can rest assured though, as "Tattooed Dancer" could easily have been on Diary of a Madman.
