Memphis Slim teamed up with Willie Dixon for this live album, recorded in Paris in 1962. The set is marked by Slim's fluid piano work and wonderful voice, and Dixon playing his head off just underneath. With up-tempo boogie-woogie tunes and classy weepers, Aux Trois Mailletz goes best with a nice bottle of Merlot, but a couple of 40s of Bud will do fine, too.
