"Joyride" was probably the best New Wave song of 1991. Or maybe, judging from the Billy Idol-inspired look Roxette rocked, she was just out of touch. You decide. But sometimes being out of step with the times is a good thing, right? When everyone else was wearing flannel and yelling about their angst, Roxette was making fluffy, hook-perfect dance pop with rock elements.
