Turkish eclecticists Baba Zula are throwing a fabulous party, and everyone's invited. At this soiree, you'll find reggae big shots Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare gyrating their groove things to the classical stylings of Turkish clarinetist Husnu Senlendirici. Later, you come across Einsturzende Neubauten bassist Alexander Hacke brooding in the corner, accompanied by an oud. Whirling Turkish folk and pop played on traditional instruments belly-dance with dub beats and downtempo, coached by British producer Mad Professor. It's cosmopolitanism at its absolute chicest.
