Pala is undoubtedly the finest British dance punk album named after an Aldous Huxley novel -- a cheerful, energetic, unabashedly corny bastion of priapic falsetto, muscular disco beats, Daft Punk-ian digital burbles and white-boys-in-skinny-jeans grandeur. Typical chorus: "All I want is to feel true love." It all sounds very expensive. Pour one out for the bassist, hope for some equally killer remixes, and go see them live.
