One of the best surprises of 2005. Garcia crafts deliciously expansive dancefloor filler, drawing on boogaloo, salsa, soul, afropop, ska and even afrobeat just to keep the party going. It works. "La Rumba" would spread equal joy in Kinshasa or Kansas City; "He Venido" turns to the Middle East for inspiration; "Algo Especial" calls out to Cuba and the Mississippi Delta (!).
