There are dozens of superlatives you can throw Disney's way. "Cool" has rarely been one of them -- until now. This celebration of Disney's swinging side matches the new jazz generation with Dave Brubeck (90 at the time of recording, Brubeck's been bopping with Mickey and friends since the '50s). Dianne Reeves puts even more blues-heat into Peggy Lee's "He's A Tramp"; Esperanza Spalding reveals the melancholy mood behind "Chim Chim Cher-Ee"; and Roy Hargrove shows why he's as hip as an Aristocat on the title cut. This should delight anybody who grew up with Disney (i.e., everybody).
