Swingin' Utters

The Pietasters, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys – just about every modern punk and/or ska-punk band was represented on this seminal compilation originally released in 1997. Many of these acts grew out of the early-'90s scene built by groups like Green Day and Operation Ivy, while others, like the Skatalites, were originators in their own right. While the album focuses rather heavily on ska, the Swingin' Utters steals the show with "Fifteenth and T."
