Have you ever heard a robot fart on television or a muskrat chirp in a Captain & Tennille song? If so, you probably already know that quirky analog synthesizer called Moog. Members of the cult of Moog will especially delight in this soundtrack to the award-winning 2004 documentary about the keyboard's history.

Although the soundtrack to the documentary about Bob Moog and the widely influential
synthesizers he invented favors newish electronica over classic synth tracks by Yes and
Gary Numan (both supplied on a second bonus disc), recent recordings by Moog-lovin' acts
including Stereolab and Tortoise prove plenty of bleeps and bloops are still waiting to be
created on these versatile vintage keyboards.
