If the dewy romance between Hugh and Drew is designed to melt hearts like butter flavoring over our jumbo tub, the movie's soundtrack offers similarly tasty, if equally momentary, pleasures. With a stack of coyly written pop songs, mostly offered in the suspiciously pitch-perfect voices of stars Haley Bennett and Hugh Grant, the soundtrack simulates chart-topping singles from the past two decades, with enough tongue-in-cheek acuity ("Entering Bootytown") to offset the over-processed cheese (Grant's piano ballad "Don't Write Me Off").
