Suitable for an Emmy-winning TV show considered a little smarter than the rest, this soundtrack is not your everyday shameless marketing tie-in. The disc kicks off with the often-overlooked Jerry Reed, the equally ignored John Hiatt and the great Harry Nilsson. On top of that, Hiatt's "Instant Karma" is glorious, Uncle Kracker delivers a loving and reverent take on "The Weight" and it's really good to be reminded just how awesome Young MC's "Bust a Move" was back when it came out a hundred years ago.
