Now that skateboard documentaries are a viable film genre, you can bet your bearings that more movies like this one, based on the rise, fall and resurrection of Venice, Calif., professional vert icon Christian Hosoi, are going to come with "extreme" soundtracks. Dave Grohl's hardcore-rooted singing with C-Minus is a standout, as is Murs' lyrical skate rhymes that are sure to stoke anyone into Lupe Fiasco and the Pack. Lexicon's hip-hop cover of the Ramones' "Sedated" recalls a young, hook-biting Puff Daddy, and OG Z-Boy Jay Adams sings with members of Suicidal Tendencies to sound like Duane Peters.
