Paris' tastemaking Kitsune label gets the spotlight on this installment of comps improbably produced by Toyota's Scion brand, and it's a wide light indeed, ranging from L.A.'s Guns n Bombs to London's Appaloosa. Overdriven bangers are the order of the day, as exemplified by Para One's distorto G-funk remix for GnB and Alex Gopher's vocoder-slathered rework of autoKratz' "Stay the Same." Nevertheless, Aussies ted&francis keep things light and poppy with the endearing "Erlend," while Berlin's BeNi sculpts Fischerspooner's "Danse en France" into a lithe electro groover.
