You better be -- these minimal techno 12-inches and rarities from Detroit's Ghostly/Spectral label will hammer you into cold submission, with Matthew Dear's soft vocals the only reminder there's any humanity out there. "Buck!" is like dancing covered in cockroaches, but it's the closing megamix that will truly move that body.

Spectral Sound is the techno offshoot of Michigan's terribly hip Ghostly International label,
and its first retrospective features one disc of Spectral Sound twelve-inch releases and
rarities, and one thirty-three-track DJ-mixed disc of selections from both labels. Reduced
to snippets and segues, the labels' playful but repetitive output goes down much smoother
in the context of Disc Two's constantly changing mix.
