Allan Sherman

As a writer/producer for The Steve Allen show, Allan Sherman had a successful (albeit behind-the-scenes) career in comedy. When the Allen show was cancelled, Sherman released a series of parody albums, the most successful of which was My Son the Nut, which topped the charts for eight weeks thanks to "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh."
