In print it might seem odd -- NYC's top avant-folk tribal noise punks meet Vashti Bunyan, one of the shining lights in the realm of undiscovered 1970s British folk. Truth be told, this EP is a pastoral wonder wherein the A.C. are on their best behavior, strumming lightly and airily as Bunyan's pure, unfettered voice calls out into the night.
