Formed in 2001, Oakland, Calif.'s Annihilation Time mix primitive '70s metal with '80s hardcore punk. After undergoing many lineup changes since their inception, A.T. settled on a roster of hard-partying bar brawlers in vocalist Jimmy Rose, guitarist Graham Clise, guitarist Wes Wilson, bassist Chris Grande and drummer Noel Sullivan. After self-releasing their eponymous debut in 2002 and the 2003 EP Bad Reputation, A.T. surfaced just in time for the crossover thrash revival and began touring frequently with the likes of Municipal Waste and Caustic Christ. They released another Annihilation Time in 2004 and its follow-up, Annihilation Time II, in 2005, and after they inked a deal with Tee Pee Records, 2008 saw the release of Annihilation Time III: Tales of the Ancient Age.
