A hard rock supergroup in the vein of Audioslave and Velvet Revolver, Army of Anyone is Filter vocalist Richard Patrick plus Dean and Robert DeLeo, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots, and drummer Ray Luzier from David Lee Roth's band. The L.A.-based project first came together in 2005 to record in Patrick's home studio. Those songs were then taken to Bob Ezrin, producer of The Wall and Alice Cooper's early material, and the result was AoA's self-titled debut album, released in late 2006.
