For crushingly technical melodic death metallers Arsis, distilling their harmonious aggression ever so slightly resulted in a complex album of stunningly harsh guitar-heavy musicianship. This third full length was produced by the masterful Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) and features blistering tracks like "Shattering the Spell" and "Progressive Entrapment" alongside more accessible (but still brutal) cuts "Sightless Wisdom" and title track/album opener "We Are the Nightmare."
