Though their career extended well into the '90s, all but one of the songs on this collection are taken from the six albums that 10cc released in the 1970s. From tongue-in-cheek send-ups like "Donna" and "Rubber Bullets" on their first self-titled album to the reggae number "Dreadlock Holiday" from 1978's Bloody Tourists, 10cc were anything but one-dimensional. "I'm Not in Love" sounds sentimental next to "Life Is a Minestrone," but then again anything seems possible from these artful former session musicians. Kevin Godley and Lol Creme left the band in 1976. Their hit, "Cry," is included here.
