Together since 1993, 2 Skinnee J's were one of the first groups to marry the lyrical power of rap with sonics of power-riffing guitars. And although the Rapcore sound is quite common these days, 2 Skinnee J's take is way more old school than any of the Limp Bizkit wannabes currently clogging up the radio airwaves. These guys charm with clever lyrical rhymes delivered expertly, then suck you in with huge, anthemic choruses. Songs are dotted with Cars-esque keys and enough outer space sounds to make George Clinton feel right at home.
