A dope but underrated duo out of Compton, 2nd II None dropped their debut album in 1991, scoring minor hits with catchy singles like "If You Want It" (which flips the "Mind Playing Tricks On Me" melody) and "Be True To Yourself." Produced entirely by G-Funk maestro DJ Quik, the beats here are ridiculously fresh, especially on "Mystic" and "The Life Of A Player."
