Biography
Blending a bit of old-time revival with a conscientious flair for the present, Little Big Town specialize in close vocal harmonies with the same recreationist sensibility displayed in the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? In fact, Little Big Town didn't land a proper record deal until the success of the Dixie Chicks and the O Brother soundtrack proved to label heads that people would pay money for Americana music. Signed by the Dixie Chicks' label, the quartet released its self-titled debut in 2003. Two years later, Little Big Town found commercial success with The Road to Here, which yielded four monster hit singles and earned them their first platinum-selling album. A Place to Land followed in 2007.
