Biography

The 5th Dimension are responsible for some of the most readily identifiable songs you'll come across on oldies radio stations any day of the week -- "Up, Up and Away," "Aquarius (Let the Sun Shine In)," and "Wedding Bell Blues" to name a few. They typified the pop Soul sound of the mid-1960s, along with "Grazin'" types Friends of Distinction and early Dionne Warwick songs, not to mention the people who sang the Sesame Street theme song. Fun, light and satisfying, everybody should have a copy of Stoned Soul Picnic.
