Biography

Jon Hassell is the visionary creator of a style of music he calls "Fourth World" -- a mysterious, unique hybrid of music both ancient and digital, composed and improvised, Eastern and Western -- and a pioneering trumpet player. He studied with Karlheinz Stockhausen and has performed with Terry Riley and Brian Eno.
