Josh Kelley

Josh Kelley is a countrified pop-rock singer and songwriter born and raised in Augusta, Ga. Kelley grew up in a musical family. Picking up the guitar at age 11, he started a band by the name of Inside Blue, which also featured his younger brother Charles (who would go on to achieve stardom with the act Lady Antebellum). After attending University of Mississippi in Oxford, where he started honing his songwriting skills, Kelley dropped his debut album, the independently released Changing Faces, in 2001. The following year he signed to Hollywood Records, for whom he recorded a pair of albums, For the Ride Home and Almost Honest; the latter title contained his first hit single, "Only You." Eventually settling in Los Angeles, Kelley left Hollywood Records to start his own label, Threshold (later renamed DNK). He churned out four more albums before rejoining the majors, inking a deal with MCA Nashville in 2009. In late 2010, Kelley released his first album for MCA, Georgia Clay. The title track and lead single quickly became country hits. In addition to his hectic recording schedule, Kelley tours extensively. He's shared bills with Rod Stewart, Third Eye Blind, Counting Crows and more.
