Ian Moore

In addition to releasing several records on his own, Austin-bred singer-songwriter and guitarist Ian Moore has toured with Joe Ely and Jason Mraz and played with the Stones, ZZ Top and Bob Dylan. A consummate guitarist, Moore blends rock, blues, funk, country, folk and deep soul into a concoction of Americana music reminiscent of the '70s but firmly rooted in the modern era. His self-titled debut album came out in 1993, and by 2010, he was already releasing a ninth. As comfortable sonically in the jam rock world as on the modern blues landscape, Moore is something of a musical polyglot, able to deliver songs from a broad palate that, while boasting pinpoint accuracy, are founded in a style that ultimately remains his own.
