Quintanilla may be a difficult man to work with, but the guy still knows how to write ridiculously catchy songs. The first single here, "Chiquilla," is that perfect, disposable pop song that will dominate dancefloors for a season and always carry a hint of summer about it. (The Portuguese and bachata versions won't hurt its market penetration, either.) Former Kumbia Kings vocalist PeeWee (aka Irvin Salinas) gives good voice, but the ghost of Quintanilla's late sister Selena still hovers: you can almost hear how she would have sung "Anoche No Dormi."
