If Agents of Oblivion had been around 10 years before, and if Soundgarden hadn't been megastars and instead remained unknown but still brave enough to work bluesy classic rock moves and psychedelia into their version of alternative metal, the two groups probably would have gotten married. Formed by Louisianan metal lynchpin Dax Riggs after the dissolution of Acid Bath, Agents of Oblivion released this inventive, highly creative take on heavy music in 2000, then promptly broke up. "Endsmouth" sounds like Zeppelin and "A Song That Crawls" sounds like David Bowie. "Dead Girl" rules.
