Air's early singles for Sourcelab were mini-baroque soundtracks that dipped into the pop realm of Burt Bacharach and the lusciousness of Serge Gainsbourg, but with a slightly robotic, post-electronica stance that dared to suggest that things like Vangelis and wind-blown hair could be cool. They were totally right.
