2 Times Revolution
Alborosie

Greensleeves
The follow-up to Alborosie's critically acclaimed major label debut, 2 Times Revolution strays slightly into a more eclectic and experimental sound. From the Spanish-inflected "La Revolucion" to the '90s hip-hop-inspired "Ragamuffin," Alborosie is all over the map but still retains some of that Rub-a-Dub revival. Featuring a sample from Burning Spear's "Marcus Garvey," "Respect" (with Junior Reid) is a standout, along with "Rolling Like a Rock," "Tax War," "Grow Your Dreads" (inspired by Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier"), and "Rude Bwoy Love," which echoes '90s one-hit wonder "Sweat" by Snow.
